Song Keeper will save the playing Spotify song regardless of what it is playing on (Alexa, phone, computer...) to your Spotify playlists and library. Works with free and premium accounts.

You can say things like:
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper to save song to Alexa playlist"
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper save song to ________ playlist" (where ________ is one of your first 100 playlists)
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper save this song to library"
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper follow this playlist"

Song Keeper has 5 commands

1. Save song to Alexa playlist - (this creates and saves playing songs to a playlist named Alexa)
You can say things like:
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper to save song to Alexa playlist"
or "Alexa, tell Song Keeper to add this song to my Alexa playlist"
If you delete your Alexa playlist use the command numbered 5 here to create a new one.

2. You can save songs to your first 100 playlists - (first 100 playlists from top to bottom as shown in the graphical Spotify clients.)
You can say things like:
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper to save song to ________ playlist"
or "Alexa, tell Song Keeper add song to ________" where _______ is your playlist name
Note: Playlists in folders in your top 100 playlists count toward your top 100 playlists.

3. Save song to Spotify library - (Your Spotify library is all the songs you save (with the +) that are not in a specific playlist)
You can say things like:
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper to save song" or
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper to add this song to my Library"

4. Follow a playing playlist
If you are for example exploring Spotify by trying playlists by name with the built in voice commands, "Alexa, play Chinese Traditional playlist"
You could then follow the playing playlist by saying things like:
"Alexa tell Song Keeper follow this playlist" or
"Alexa tell Song Keeper to follow the playing playlist"

5. Create a new Alexa playlist and save playing song to it
Spotify does not let you permanently delete playlists it only unsubscribes you from them when you remove them.
If you would like to create a new Alexa playlist to save to from now on say this specific command,
"Alexa, save song to new Alexa Playlist Alpha Tango"



If you need directions later on simply try saying:
"Alexa, tell Song Keeper help"

Please note non song audio (such as Podcasts) which Spotify does not allow to be added to playlists Song Keeper will not be able to save.
