Shark robots combine the ease of a robot with the performance of a Shark, making it a convenient solution for everyday upkeep.
Connect to your Shark robot from anywhere using the SharkClean app. Shark robots also work with Amazon Alexa, giving you the ability to use voice control to start and stop cleaning, set up a cleaning schedule, and much more.
To set up the Alexa Skill:
1. Download the SharkClean app from the app store and signup for your account.
2. Go to your Alexa app and please tap on the “more” option on the bottom right. Please navigate to “skills & games”
3. On the top right corner, tap on the search option and search for “Shark robot vacuum skill”
4. Click on “ENABLE TO USE”/"ENABLE" and you’ll be redirected Shark Login page.
5. Login using the same user and password credentials as the SharkClean app. Complete setup.
6. Setup the map within the SharkClean app to utilize Room Select skills.
Once the steps are completed, you can now control your Shark robot by saying something like, "Alexa, ask Shark to clean the room.”
You can also name your Shark robot in the SharkClean app and use that name in voice commands. For example, “Alexa ask Shark to turn on Tom.”
To start your Shark robot:
• “Alexa, turn on Tom.”
• “Alexa, ask Shark to start Tom.”
To pause your robot:
• “Alexa, tell Shark to pause my Tom.”
To dock your robot:
• “Alexa, turn off Tom.”
• “Alexa, ask Shark to send Tom home.”
To locate your robot:
• “Alexa, ask Shark to locate Tom.”
• "Alexa, ask Shark to find Tom."
To check battery:
• “Alexa, ask Shark, what is the battery level of Tom?”
• "Alexa, ask Shark to check the battery level of Tom."
To schedule your robot:
• ”Alexa, ask Shark to schedule vacuuming on Thursday at 9 AM.”
• "Alexa, ask Shark to cancel vacuuming on Thursday at 9 AM."
• "Alexa, ask Shark, when is the next cleaning cycle?"
To change suction mode:
• "Alexa, set mode to ECO on Tom"
• "Alexa, set mode to NORMAL on Tom"
• "Alexa, set mode to MAX on Tom"
To use Room Select (Only available with IQ and AI models. Prior setup required in the SharkClean App.):
• ”Alexa, ask Shark to start cleaning the living room and office.”
• ”Alexa, ask Shark to vacuum the office.”
To check status:
• "Alexa, ask Shark, what is the status of Tom?"
NOTE: We've made some recent changes to our password requirements. Any returning users who created accounts with us before August 26, 2017, will be required to reset their passwords in order to access their SharkNinja accounts.
To reset your password, you need to:
1. Visit https://www.sharkclean.com/myaccount/
2. Enter your email address.
3. Click “I forgot my password” on the login screen.
4. If the email address entered is associated with a customer account in our records, you will receive an email from us shortly with steps to reset your password.
